Yvonne Cusac, MSW, LSW

Therapist

Yvonne Cusac has been working in social services since 2004 and holds a Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University
in Texas.  She started her career providing direct care services to individuals with developmental disabilities. From there she worked many years in child welfare and juvenile delinquency/detention which left her well-versed in criminology and incarcerated youth, child abuse/neglect, kinship, foster care, and adoption.  Her experiences providing case management and recovery management to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders took her all over Ohio until she settled back in northwest Ohio to provide psychotherapy in home-based, higher education, and private practice settings.

Yvonne delivers an authentic, interactive, and empathetic approach to trauma focused interventions, Mindfulness, and CBT rooted in whole body integration, character building, and core values identification. She invites a motivational, strengths based, solution-focused, and holistic framework to the youth, adults, families, and couples with whom she works.  Yvonne has specialized interest in treating issues related to childhood trauma, personality disorders, Post Traumatic Stress, interpersonal relationship conflict, and depression/anxiety.
